Title-line explains all, I think. The alternative is having the site endlessly spammed by Iranian government kiddies too gutless to give their real names and email addresses.

As with any site that values security and integrity, this site really will have to require people to register, and then be sent a link to their nominated email address, before being allowed to post.

Obviously, there also needs to be watertight security for those details, so the people metnioned above can’t get hold of them.
