(IsraelNN.com) The deadly Iranian plane crashed over two weeks ago which claimed 168 lives was caused by explosive devices that were being transported to the Hizbullah terror group, the English language Italian daily paper Corriere della Sera reported on Saturday. Based on unnamed Middle Eastern sources, the report said that 16 minutes after the place took off from Tehran on its way to Armenia the pilot radioed for help. Shortly after the call the plane crashed just north of Tehran.
The report claimed that the plane was carrying a small number of two kilogram explosive devices with electronic circuitry. The presence of explosive devices supports the testimony of eyewitnesses who said they heard explosions before the plane crashed. According to the sources, the explosive devices were being delivered to Armenia and then on to Turkey, Syriah and finally Lebanon to not arouse suspicion.
