Geez, Iranians thought it was the other way around. They believe that Khamenei himself, a murdering, rapist atheist (Lucifer in disguise) invented his own novel form of Islam from pure fiction. He did it so as to make the Islamic Republic his personal property, much as Stalin, another atheist, redesigned communism to enhance his own power.
