A Note about the Armoured Vehicles from China to Iran Persian2English’s Blog

Apparently the Chinese government doesn’t want the regime to be overthrown so they rushed these anti-riot vehicles to surpress further protests.

"The armoured anti-riot vehicles have a capacity of 10,000 liters to shoot cold and hot water, and three 100 liter tanks to shoot burning chemical liquids. The water is mixed with paint or tear gas that cannot be washed away. Each vehicle has two guns for shooting liquid up to a distance of 70 meters- it is controlled from inside the cabin. The price tag for each unit is 650,000 dollars. Also, a lot of extra burning liquid, paint, and tear gas was purchased."

The Iran News Agency reports that three students were killed in clashes with plainclothes Basij forces yesterday at Azad University in Mashhad, Iran’s second most populous city. Two male students were reportedly stabbed to death, while a female student was shockingly thrown out a third floor window in the university’s dormitory.

This was reported on The Newest Deal. VERY sad! :(

Iran Focus

More and more Western governments are speaking out against the regime and calling for regime change.

"ImagePeers and MPs from across the political spectrum have declared their solidarity with "the brave millions of Iranians" demanding regime change.

They did so in a statement issued by the cross-party British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom.

The committee also accused the British Government of a "shameful" policy of appeasement towards the mullahs and called for an end to trade and negotiations with the regime.

As unrest grows in Iran, the committee, chaired by Labour peer Lord Corbett of Castle Vale, told the protesters: "You have courageously protested for the basic rights to which you are entitled. The mullahs’ regime has responded with deadly force and suppression, but it has failed to silence your call for an end to clerical rule.

"A majority of UK Parliamentarians condemn the callous murder and arbitrary arrest of young Iranians by the…

Green Brief #78

By Codeman177 – http:/twitter.com/codeman177

Since Niteowl has started posting on his own blog, I have asked if I could begin publishing the Green Brief so that everyone on wwp would once again have a summary of the day’s news from Iran. I like Niteowl have gotten all of my information from reliable tweets and no information I could not confirm has been included in this brief.

Thanks to all members for making this a great board.

BUT especially Happy New Year to all the Great Members of the Opposition in Iran, the toothpaste is out of the tube and the hardliners will never be able to put it back in. You have changed Iran for the better though at times it may not seem that way. Generations to come will thank you. The fight may not be over but the war is, Iran is changed forever for the better, the Regime just does not know it yet.

I have no doubt I can safely say the worldwide members of this board thank you for your dedication, bravery and your unquestionable high standards of morality and righteousness in these tough times.

You are Iran’s future. Words can not do you justice.
