Revolt brews in Iran

As Iranian protests continue, just over a week after the mass protests that took place throughout Iran on the Shi’ite festival of Ashura, the Iranian regime, severely wounded, has set about trying to quell the violence with a brutal crackdown.

This Iranian regime has long relied on fear for its survival but today fear is no longer the potent weapon it was. Footage of recent events show that these protests are a far cry from the demonstrations which took place following Iran’s June presidential election. The chants and slogans of the demonstrators portray a nation that now demands an end to the supreme rule of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and demands in its place a democratic nation where the Iranian people’s freedom and human rights are respected.

Today, the demonstrators can expect a severe backlash from an Iranian regime that for the first time since the 1979 revolution, sees its end in sight. A wounded…

I am writing the following in response to all the information and lies perpetrated by one individual. After you fully read what I have to say there should be no doubt in any one persons mind as to his purpose. Contrary to what everyone says or claims you must understand this man is sick and needs help. He is not an agent of any government or working for one, he is a man with a severe mental illness. I can not stand by and watch people believe in his own diluted version of reality no longer endangering the lives of the people in Iran.

The one thing he has been claiming lately is that we are not the “Real Green Movement” but he fail to realize there is not one but two. There are the people inside Iran risking their live and sometimes giving it in the ultimate sacrifice to defend their freedom. Outside Iran however there is another movement, the one to spread the word of what is happening. If it were not for these dedicated individuals the world would not know the Iranians…

Protests/Unrest

1. It was reported today that more Iranian army forces have moved into Tehran. Army forces are stationed on every street and have been given orders to shoot any demonstrators.

2. Iran is now the nation with the most journalists in jail. Iran now has a total of 42 journalists in jail; the nation has now recovered its status as the biggest jail for the media.

3. The hack on Ahmadinejad’s website continues; the site was hacked and defaced yesterday. Late yesterday the site went down and is still down….
