By codeman177 - Cody Weible (codeman177) on Twitter

Since Niteowl has started posting on his own blog, I have asked if I could begin publishing the Green Brief so that WWP would once again have a summary of the day’s news from Iran. I like Niteowl have gotten all of my information from reliable tweets and am not reporting any information that I could not confirm.

January 13, 2010

1. The "Iran Royal Society" who, according the state run media had claimed involvement in the killing of Professor Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, has denied any involvement.

2. After four days of detainment the remaining twelve mourning mothers were released on bail last night. Criminal charges are still pending.

3. The regime is still trying to pass the murder of Professor Ali-Mohammadi as a foreign plot.

4. Reports indicate that students at Razi University, after sit in protests and boycotts of their final exams, have succeeded in getting the release of their classmates…

In an attempt to cut expenses the regime has cut subsidies for fuel and food.
In a quote from his response, AN makes an absolutely ironic statement.

"Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday the law is "big step toward implementation of justice," and added that with its implementation, there will "not be a single unemployed and poor person within three years."

Except the entire coup government!!!!! ;)

EA has posted a letter from someone in Tehran and they believe the regime is over - they can’t last much longer! It makes interesting reading;)

Quote:

An EA reader has passed us this letter from a friend in Tehran, received yesterday. We post it as it is written, with no editing:

Sorry for taking so long to write to you, I’ve been lying low – I wasn’t really sure whether it was safe for me to write or not, and I just wanted to be careful.

Do you remember Khatami being attacked during Moharram [the assault in Jamaran on Tasua, 26 December --- see video]? We happened to be visiting some friends who live near there and you’ll never believe it but we virtually had a ringside view!

Things are definitely changing here, remember I told you about the last demonstration I had seen in October, and the brutality of the basij etc. Well this time it almost seemed as if some of the attackers really didn’t want to be there! It seems that some of…

According to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President automatically becomes President if the incumbent president resigns or dead but some political elite along with some unidentified group have rejected the Vice President as the President elect.

Latest Iran Video: “A Message to Armed Forces of Iran” (13 January) | Enduring America

The following is a very sad but so inspiring that it reminds me of the French national anthem, written in 1792 during the French Revolution.

To compare and contrast the faces on that video with familiar faces that so well represent the regime is to wonder how any impartial person could support the coup government.

CONTRASTING FACES THAT STAND OUT WHEN ANYONE THINKS OF THE REGIME

–The FACES of bearded, club-swinging Basilj.

–The FACES of Khamenei’s special squads. While police are ordered to stand aside, the same faces show up repeatedly to run over demonstrators, mail bombs to prominent critics and shoot out the windows of Karoubbi’s car and…

This is a very informative site for disabling any kind of vehicle PERMANENTLY. Granted the techniques are for after the vehicles have been abandoned by the crews so stopping them with the caltrops and paint/glue combo on the windows is vital. I think if the protesters take out enough trucks/mototrcycles/anti-riot vehicles the regime will have difficulties purchasing new ones to replace them as they are going broke. Plus there’s a lot of other topics pertinent to protesters.
